Dear Arion customers,
As many of you have noticed already, this Monday we released the first Beta of Arion for 3ds Max v3.0.0 in the Customer Area. This release was accompanied by the opening of a new area in our site (Arion 3) linked from the home page.
Arion for 3ds Max v3.0.0 is the first of our products based on RCSDK 3.
We have been working in the shadow on the next-gen Arion for a long, long time, in parallel with the v2.7.0 releases that we have been publishing lately. Now that Arion for 3ds Max v3 is production-ready, and following our promise to keep an Open Beta program as we have been doing lately, we are letting all our existing (and new) owners of a license of Arion for 3ds Max download and try v3 during its final development stage.
We will unveil the most remarkable v3 features in the upcoming weeks, through the forum, blog, and the Arion 3 area. So I won’t get into any technical details now. I will describe, however, the rules that apply to the Open v3 Beta program. For more details, or to ask questions, please go to the customers forum.
1- The Open v3 Beta is freely available to all our existing customers of a FULL (not DEMO / not EDU) license of Arion for 3ds Max v2.x.
2- v3 Beta licenses will expire automatically the day that v3 is released.
3- Owners of v2 using a temporary Beta licese will have the chance to upgrade to v3 anytime, or just keep using v2 once the v3 Beta license expires.
1- Starting today, every new customer of Arion for 3ds Max will be able to download v2.7.0 (final release) and v3.0.0 (Beta).
2- The v3 license for new customers, however, won’t expire. So new customers will be effectively purchasing Arion for 3ds Max v3.
This cute scene has been produced with Arion for 3ds Max v3.0.0. It makes use of some of the new and very exciting features in the next-gen Arion Core, which we will start unveiling very soon.
Thanks for watching!
