OverviewOur plugin for Rhinoceros 3D allows you to export your geometry directly to fryrender and Arion. Simply set RandomControl fryrender as your Renderer in the Render menu. - Use the specially-customized RDK Content Browser to create, organize and assign realistic fryrender/Arion materials to your objects; and access the fryrender Material Editor with new ease.
- Create named views that are automatically transformed into physical cameras which you can configure to your exact specifications.
- Use native Rhino block instances that are seamlessly converted into fryrender instances at render time, reducing the geometry overhead of repeated objects in your scenes (fryrender only).
- You have a variety of lighting choices: Physical Sky/Sun, HDRI Environment, and object emitters. Use them alone or in combination to produce stunning renders that are flawlessly illuminated.
Versions and upgrades Our plugin supports the Windows version of Rhinoceros 4. Please note that McNeel's RDK must be installed on your system for the plugin to start. Note also that Rhino 4 is a 32-bit app, and so is our plugin. However, since fryrender and Arion are external applications, you can render in 64-bit using the 64-bit standalone. Our plugin for Rhino can be downloaded free of charge by our customers and DEMO users. The latest version of the plugin will always be available on this page. The Rhino plugin is fully compatible with fryrender and Arion. You can take a look at the version changelog here.
